PrivacyPolicy
Your privacy is our priority. Learn how we protect your information.

Data Collection & Security
- We do not store chat conversations (video, audio, or text) on our servers.
- When you sign in with Google we store: your Google account id, email, display name, avatar, and the date of birth you provide for 18+ verification.
- We store account-status flags (age-verified, blocked, blocked-reason) plus timestamps (account created, last login, ban issued/lifted).
- We collect IP addresses, device info, timestamps, and session metadata for security, abuse prevention, and legal compliance.
- We use Grafana Cloud to capture operational events. Stored fields include connection metadata, your Google identifiers (account id, email, display name) when signed in, IP and geo data, moderation events, and ban records. Retained per the Grafana Cloud retention policy.
Device Fingerprint
- On each visit we generate a device fingerprint from your browser by combining a small canvas rendering, basic WebGL parameters, your user-agent string, and your timezone offset. The result is hashed and cached in your browser's localStorage.
- This fingerprint is sent only to Camdiv during the socket handshake. It is used to enforce bans across browser sessions and to make ban evasion harder.
- It is not shared with third parties and is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
Cookies & Local Storage
- Authentication session cookie (HTTP-only, signed by NextAuth): keeps you signed in after Google sign-in. Required for the platform to function.
- Staging-gate cookie (HMAC-signed, preview environments only): grants access to non-production preview environments. Not present on the public site.
- localStorage entries: device fingerprint (see above), ban-review state (so the review screen can recover after refresh).
- We do not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies.
Anti-Abuse & Ban Policy
- Bans are tied to your Google account and enforce our Terms of Service. Clearing cookies, switching browsers, or changing IP does not bypass a ban.
- AI moderation samples frames during every match; explicit content confirmed across multiple frames triggers an automatic ban within seconds.
- High-confidence AI-corroborated user reports may result in immediate suspension. Borderline AI signals and suspected-minor flags route to a human reviewer; bans on those paths are issued only after human confirmation.
- Banned users can request review of any ban from the block screen — corroborated incorrect bans are reversed within one working day.
- Browser fingerprints (for anonymous traffic) and Google account identifiers (for signed-in users) are the primary ban enforcement layers. IP addresses are retained as evidence for audit and admin review, not used as a primary connection gate.
Minors & Age Restrictions
- Camdiv is strictly an 18+ platform.
- On first sign-in we require a date of birth; users under 18 are permanently blocked. The same Google account cannot re-register.
- AI moderation also flags any suspected-minor frame during a chat — these flag to a human reviewer who can suspend the account.
- We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor is using the platform, hit the in-app Report button or email [email protected].
Data Retention
- Session data (the live video / audio / text) is never stored — it is discarded as soon as the chat ends.
- Moderation evidence frames are retained only when they triggered a ban or a human-review flag, so the affected user can request a review. Evidence is stored in DigitalOcean Spaces; access is restricted to admin moderation staff and review systems.
- Your account record (Google id, email, name, avatar, DOB, status flags) is retained for the life of your account; you can request deletion at any time.
- Operational telemetry (connection metadata, Google identifiers when signed in, IP / geo data, moderation and ban records) is retained per the Grafana Cloud retention policy.
How Calls Connect
- Calls use WebRTC (encrypted peer-to-peer media). When a direct connection is not possible — for example, because of certain network or NAT configurations — encrypted media is relayed through Camdiv-operated TURN servers.
- Relay servers do not record media. They forward encrypted packets between the two participants and discard them.
- No third-party relays are used.
We Do Not Sell Your Data
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information for advertising or marketing purposes.
- We do not use third-party advertising trackers or behavioural-ad networks on the platform.
- The only third parties that receive your data are the infrastructure sub-processors listed below, and only to deliver the service.
Sub-Processors
- Google (Sign-In with Google): authenticates your account. Receives your sign-in request and returns your Google profile (id, email, name, avatar).
- DigitalOcean: hosts our application servers, managed PostgreSQL database, Spaces (for moderation evidence storage), and TURN relay servers.
- Grafana Cloud: receives operational telemetry (connection metadata, Google identifiers when signed in, IP and geo data, moderation and ban events).
- Google Gemini / NudeNet: image moderation. Sampled video frames are sent for safety classification; frames are not retained by the AI service beyond the classification call.
- International transfers: where data flows across borders (e.g. EU to US), we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or the relevant adequacy framework provided by each sub-processor.

Your Rights & Contact
As a user of Camdiv you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your account data at any time. The data we hold about you is limited to your Google profile, the date of birth you provided for 18+ verification, and your account-status flags; you stay anonymous to the other people you meet on the platform.
