Camdiv's core experience is simple: adults complete the guest prompts or sign in, choose video, voice, or text chat, and join the matching queue. Product work around that experience has to improve usefulness without adding unnecessary friction or making safety and privacy claims the technology cannot support.
The ideas below are areas we are evaluating. They are not release commitments, and their scope may change after testing.
Language Accessibility
Language tools could make cross-border conversations easier, but live translation has accuracy, latency, and privacy trade-offs. We are exploring ways to reduce language barriers while making it clear when a translation may be imperfect.
Better Conversation Starts
Optional topics or prompts may help people find a first question without turning random chat into a profile-heavy social network. Any matching controls need to preserve quick access and provide enough people for useful matches.
Mobile Web Performance
Camdiv runs in supported mobile browsers and has an Android app. Camera startup, connection reliability, battery use, and controls on smaller screens remain ongoing priorities, with web improvements intended to help people who do not install the app.
Accessibility and Interface Options
We are reviewing keyboard navigation, captions and status messages, contrast, motion preferences, and theme controls. These changes are most useful when they improve the main chat flow for everyone instead of living in a separate mode.
How Roadmap Updates Will Work
We will describe a feature as available only after it has shipped. Until then, roadmap items should be read as product direction rather than a promised date or specification. Material launches and policy changes will be documented when they are ready to use.
