Camdiv publishes product documentation, safety guidance, and comparisons to help adults understand how the service works and how it differs from other random-chat platforms. This page explains the standard we use for that content and the limits readers should keep in mind.
Who is responsible for Camdiv content?
The Camdiv team is responsible for content published on camdiv.com. Product and technical claims are checked against the behavior of the current web application. Safety and privacy claims are checked against the published Community Guidelines, Child Safety Standards, Privacy Policy, and Terms of Service.
Camdiv does not currently publish individual staff biographies. Until accountable individual bylines are available, articles are attributed to the Camdiv organization rather than presenting a fictional or generic person as an expert.
How comparisons are researched
Competitor and alternatives articles use first-party public sources whenever possible: the service's official website, help center, policy pages, pricing pages, and official app-store listings. We identify the source in the article and distinguish published facts from our interpretation.
Camdiv owns and publishes its comparison articles. We disclose that relationship, avoid presenting a Camdiv article as independent coverage, and include cases where another service may better suit a particular need.
Product and safety claims
Random chat involves real people and cannot be made risk-free. We avoid absolute claims such as “completely safe,” “all users are verified,” or “instant matching.” Copy should explain relevant constraints, including queue availability, device and network conditions, the limits of automated checks, and the role of reporting and human review.
We do not publish moderation or reliability statistics unless they can be derived from a defined dataset, reviewed for privacy, and accompanied by a clear methodology and date range.
Dates and meaningful updates
An article's published date records its initial publication. When a material review changes facts, recommendations, or conclusions, we add an updated date and use that same date in the visible page, structured data, and XML sitemap. Typographical fixes alone do not justify a new freshness date.
Corrections
Product features and policies can change. Readers and companies mentioned in an article can request a factual correction through the contact page. We review the cited source, correct verified errors, and update the article's revision date when the correction materially changes the content.
Advertising and editorial separation
Advertising supports Camdiv, but advertisers do not approve or edit Camdiv articles. Sponsored content must be labeled. Product comparisons should not rank a service solely because it advertises with Camdiv or because Camdiv competes with it.
What this standard does not claim
This policy is an operating standard, not a claim of independent journalism, regulatory certification, or third-party safety accreditation. Where independent evidence is unavailable, Camdiv should say so directly rather than filling the gap with unsupported authority signals.
